We are sure that you’ve heard a lot about trending new skin care with hemp seed oil and cannabinoid (CBD) oil. The benefits of CBD oil in skin care – may also be beneficial, and one we have embraced in some of our amazing formulations . Melanopeel is a holistic system that balances both safe medical grade products with super quality botanicals. We’ll tell you why we love incorporating our organic Melanopeel Hemp Seed Oil into our skin care regimes.
Regarding CBD in skin care, still too early to tell, as there is the possibility that benefits may come other ingredients in the product. Another consideration is that some clinicians have reported localized skin contact dermatitis reactions from some products containing high levels of CBD oil. Hemp seed oil, however, has been used for a much longer time, and we have found that a good quality pure hemp seed oil with balanced cannabinoid levels indeed can be beneficial.
We have incorporated pure premium grade hemp seed oil into our proprietary blended Hemp Seed Cleansing Oil.

We have boosted our hemp seed oil with a special blend of other anti inflammatory and cleansing oils for excellent skin benefits. Let’s now learn more about hemp seed oil and it’s numerous benefits.
Hemp seed oil is a clear green oil harvested by cold pressing hemp seeds. It is a member of the Cannabis sativa family of plants. Both hemp and marijuana belong to Cannabis sativa species but the concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) present in the plant makes them different from one another.
Hemp seed oil sometimes referred to as “hemp oil”, typically does not contain or only contains trace amounts of THC, the psychoactive and intoxicating chemical present in cannabis. If THC is less than 0.3 percent, it is called hemp, and if the concentration of THC is greater than 0.3 percent, it is considered as marijuana. That is why hemp seed oil is safe to use without feeling intoxicated or high afterwards. Moreover, there is no or very little risk of intoxication using hemp seed oil as it comes from “food grade strains” of hemp.
The hemp seed oil has many health benefits as it is a natural source of key nutrients such as proteins, terpenes and fatty acids (omega-3s and omega-6s). Basically, the hemp seed oil is free from THC which is why it is so appealing to use, in addition to its fatty acids profile. Historically, the Eastern community has used hemp seed oil topically and internally for hundreds of years as it is an excellent source of healthy nutrients.
It is anti-inflammatory & cytoprotective for acne and aging skin
Hemp seed oil is known to have anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective properties among its other uses. This makes it good for persons with sensitive skin, eczema, aging skin, & rosacea. It is effectively used in different skin conditions as it contains a number of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. Omega-6 and Omega-3, when added with linoleic acid, not only reduce inflammation but also aid in acne treatment. So, it nourishes your skin and protects it from oxidation, inflammation, breakouts and other causes of ageing.
Hemp seed oil is a great choice for skin as it is rich in lipids called “ceramides”. Ceramides support our cellular membranes by retaining moisture and stopping excessive liquid from leaving the cells. So, they nourish your skin by preventing dryness and improving the quality of your barrier membrane.
Use our premium-grade oil both as a cleansing oil, or on its own also a skin hydrator.
We love our hemp seed oil because it provides excellent health benefits and nutrients that help to improve and nourish your skin, therefore improving the quality of your skin’s precious protective barrier membrane.
